  • Shelf life minimum 3 days. Suitable for home freezing up to 2 months, consume within 1 day after defrosting.

    A canelé is best enjoyed on the day it is made. That is when you get the best contrast between the crisp, caramalised crust and soft middle. However, some people find this texture too crispy and prefer to wait a day until the canelé is more soft. I enjoy eating them crispy, but also find them delicious soft. They will last for 5 days in the fridge - if you have the willpower!
